EverQuest 2 Insider Guide-chapter011

Find Cordun Brenland in Qeynos Harbour near the docks.
Head down to Vermin’s Syne and talk to Remy who spawns near the rat queen. You will be teleported into Queen Antonia’s rooms.
Kill the 2 body guards, then dispatch of Sir Orm, the head bodyguard. Run up the stairs into the Queens apartment and go through the cut scene.
After you get teleported out, talk to the Ratonga standing next to you. Next head to Matthias in the commonlands.
Matthias Seigemaker is in the Canyon next to the Hidden Canyon Griffon station. Take the griffon station to the hidden canyon griffon station and run to him.
Next you need to kill 500 orcs and some orc/human leaders. Get a group and start taking out orc camps everywhere. This will give you experience and the named kills you need.
The Orcs Grug Giefr and Glan Moyston, the humans Dolfor Mochdre and Dinas Drefelin are in the Commonlands and spawn randomly near orc/dervish camps. Get someone with tracking to help you. Garreg Stonecrusher spawns in the Wailing Caves and roams around.

EverQuest 2 Insider Guide-chapter012

Step 11:
Timothy will tell you to talk to Felzik Dursin. Warning: Once you talk to Felzik he will aggro on you and you must kill him. You will need a small group. Felzik can be found in Windstalker Village walking up and down near one of the stores
Step 12:
Time to talk to Vishra again. Vishra will tell you to speak to Darvin Gallowyn. Darvin is located at the Oracle Tower on the top floor.
Step 13:
Wolfgang Constantine is located at the Claymore Statue south of the two towers which are located east of the north Qeynos gate.
Step 14:
Sialla can be found near a tree just north of the Keep of the Gnollslayers.
Step 15:
Time to talk to Vishra once more.
Step 16:
Outside N. Qeynos Gates you will see two towers. Rachelle spawns on the bottom floor of the most southern of those two towers. If Rachelle is not up she will eventually spawn. Rachelle does not respawn on server up for some reason. Talk to Vishra for the last time and you’re now a full citizen of Qeynos.
12.2. Qeynos Betrayal

EverQuest 2 Insider Guide-chapter013

Step 5:
Once you have cleared the room, click on the door behind Bonebreaker and you will go through a cut-scene with the overlord and be ported outside the gates.
Step 6:
In the Commonlands you’ll be next to “Executioner Selindi”. Talk to her and she will tell you that you need to go to Antonica and speak with Vishra.
Step 7:
Run to the Commonland docks. Take the Boat to Nektulos Forest. Ring the Bell in Nektulos Forest and it will take you to Thundering Stepps. In Thundering Stepps take the boat to Antonica. Once in Antonica you can find Vishra on the southern edge of the Antonica map just past Blackburrow and the Gnoll Waterfall at C1924, -14, -14,757.
Step 8:
Speak with Vishra. You must kill the following: 500 Gnolls, Dancord of The Pine, Sarn The Wayfarer, Towyn The lazy, Crugybar The Rock and Nantglas The Cold. Go into Blackburrow and join a group and slaughter gnolls. You will get experience and gnolls for your quest. Of the 5 named Gnolls, two are in Blackburrow and 3 are in Antonica.
Step 9:
All of these named can be killed with a small group. Crugybear is located inside the mines in Blackburrow. Nantglas The Cold spawns on a little shelf of rock through the underwater tunnel on the right. Dancord of The Pine spawns in the forest area just north of the Blackburrow entrance. Towyn The Lazy spawns on the beach around C900, ???, 900. Towyn’s beach is west of Blackburrow. Just follow the southern coast and you’ll find it easy enough. Sarn The Wayfarer spawns on the hillside near The Keep of The Gnollslayers. Just follow the left fork of the road as it passes the Keep and you’ll see him if he’s up.
Step 10:
Once you completed this part, go talk to Vishra again. Vishra will tell you to go talk to Timothy Cooper. Timothy Cooper can be found on the dock NW of Windstalker Village and North of the Ruins of Caltorais.

EverQuest 2 Insider Guide-chapter014

Step 11: Goto to Kareth and receive the Fishbone Earring.
12. Betrayal Quest
12.1. Freeport Betryal
You can start this quest between level 10 and 17. I would recommend doing this quest at level 15 as any lower and you might have trouble.
Step 1:
Go to East Freeport and find Stilus Graphium. Stilus is on the 2nd floor of “The Freeport Observer”.
Step 2:
Stilus will tell you to talk to Kenjedeau in the sewers. Head over to the serpent sewers.
Step 3:
Once in Serpent Sewers there will be a lot of aggro mobs at 15. In the Serpent Sewers you will first come to a “T” – take the left branch. You will have to sprint/sneak/invis past the mobs. If you get mob agro run all the way to back where Kenjedeau is and a guard will assist you.
Step 4:
Warning: Read this before talking to Kenjedeau. Once you talk to Kenjedeau you will be ported into an instanced zone. When you have been ported in you have to take out a few mobs and a weak named. These shouldn’t be a problem from you.

EverQuest 2 Insider Guide-chapter017

This quest should run you between 8-40 hours depending on how lucky you are with the Caveroot Horror and Bloodtalon spawns. Either very light, light, or Heavy armor boots will be given as a reward depending on your class. (Heavy for plate wearing classes, light for scouts, very light for mages)
11.2. Hadden’s Earring (Fishbone Earring)
The quest information in this chapter was provided by Jay Smith. You can find out more about the author and his works here: http:///authors/jay-smith.htm
The Fishbone Earring is only earring in the game that has agility and allows for permanent water breathing. It is a very good addition to high-level monks/bruisers, scouts, tank types and because of it’s many pieces, might take a few days to complete.
Quest Giver: Kerath McMarrin in Thundering Steppes (at docks)
Step 1: Find Hrath’s Journal at the Tower of Vhalen in Antonica (-1300, 50) and
return to Kerath.

Step 4: Kill Lord Everling in Nektropos Castle.
o Nektropos Castle is found in the top-right-hand corner of the Nektulos
Forest zone. To enter the castle you must complete the Calling of the Forest access quest. You will also need to be heavily grouped since most of the mobs in this zone will attack anyone lower than level-37 and Lord Everling is a level-33 ^^ mob

EverQuest 2 Insider Guide-chapter018

11.1. Dwarven Work Boots.
The quest starts by speaking to Hwarf Rucksif in Antonica who’s located in the Keep of the Ardent Needle.
Step 1: Gather resources
Hwarf will ask you to run around Antonica and gather 100 lumber and 100 ore. You have to go gather all of it yourself. You cannot buy the resources from another player. The ore is harvested from stone crest ore and the wood can be harvested from wind felled logs. When you have gathered the resources, return to Hwarf.
Step 2: Rare rocks, Rare wood, Griffon hide.
This is the longest step because updates are rare. First off head to Blackburrow and start killing all the gnoll miners and excavators. The rare ore you need is a random quest update from them. After slaughtering tons of gnolls head to Stormhold and go down to the library entrance. You need to kill 1 of the caveroot horrors for the wood update. They are on very long spawn timers so if they’re not up you should check on them every 3-4 hours. The final part are the griffon hide updates from Bloodtalon in Thundering Steppes. He is a completely random spawn so it could be minutes?? or days before you even see him.
Step 3: Kill the ghost
Next Hwarf asks you to kill his ancient grandfathers ghost in the tower of Vhalaen (the zone is in a sewer lid on the ground floor right at the entrance). You will need a full group of 20+ or 3 25+ people to take him down as he is level 25++.
Step 4: Rare giant metal, Deer hide.
The next step requires you to go back to the Thundering Steppes and kill giant scouts for the metal (update can take awhile and only Firerock Scouts will give the update) and kill Mature Antelope for the deer skin.
Step 5: Thundermist village
When you have the metal from the Firerock Scouts and the skin from the Mature Antelope head to the dwarf women in the village and talk to her. She will tell you she needs 24 hours until she finishes the boots. Hit /time and then go do something for the next 24 hours (in-game hours not real life hours). After 24 hours return to her and get the boots which you now have to take back to Hwarf. When you give Hwarf the boots, he finally gives you his.
Total completion time:

EverQuest 2 Insider Guide-chapter019

The broodmother spawns up the ice path right in the main lizard area on the very top. She is level 44++ and has 5 hatchlings with her.
Dreadwake:
A named shark that sometimes shows up near the docks. He is very mean at level 42+++ group X 2.
10.5.3. Leveling Area
Levels 40-50:
Upon zoning in, head east and swim a bit (avoid the sharks by using key and making sure none are near you). You will find a little cave on the wall that leads to an area with skeletons, resonating echoes, and other assorted mobs. For the time being, kill these mobs. They will drop decent loot and the experience is also good considering you are solo.
After that, you can do the giants in the cave and then move on (with invis) to the little islands just past Permafrost. There are about 6 islands with 2-3 solo mobs on each. Just run around and kill them on each island. It will be boring, but this area is about the only area left where your experience bar will move. The only other spot that can be recommended is the deer, since here you can get decent loot to sell.
Level 40-50:
Feerrott is probably better experience, but this zone is much cooler looking. The mobs that you can go for will mainly be the numfoots around the world tree and the cougars nearby. You may also hunt Artic Behemoths, and Ancient Frostfins if you don’t mind fighting in the water. Anywhere else is basically a waste of time.
10.5.4. Loot
Other then killing named you should kill Artic monitors, Valkyrie, and Artic Behemoths They drop adept spells and merchant loot.
11. Heritage Quests

EverQuest 2 Insider Guide-chapter020

The Feerrott solo area is mostly at the zone in with the muck dregs, flies, and such. Also, far in the south and east a bit, there is a druid ring with lots of spiders that drop decent loot and aren’t bad for experience either.
Level 37-50:
The whole zone is great experience. This zone has a nice experience bonus. I would suggest hunting lizards, lizard men and Constructs of Thule.
10.4.4. Loot
Other then killing named you should kill Constructs of Thule and Thule Guardians. They drop adept spells and merchant loot.
10.5. Everfrost
10.5.1. Quests
Zone in npc:
The female npc next to the zone in will ask you to kill random mobs C you can complete this quest unlimited times. The reward is experience and coin.
Beach woman:
Same as the zone in npc – this woman will ask you to kill random animals.
10.5.2. Named
Broodmother:
